Privacy Policy
This document is a guide to how I Morten Clements record, safeguard and use information that I hold on my personal training clients. I am committed to the protection of my valued clients and local community user’s privacy through compliance of the Data Protection Act and current best practice.
How I collect information
In order to take part in personal training services, boot camps or self defence courses, I request that you provide me with basic information that will help me identify you and allow me to help you get the best service from me.
I collect this information from you, when you complete your application form or PAR-Q before commencing any activity.
The information I collect
I need to be able to identify my clients and anyone who signs up for other services. This is basic information such as your full name, address, contact and emergency contact details.
I have a general “PAR-Q” information sheets which stands for “Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire” which gives me an indication of your current fitness levels and any medical or physical attributes that might require me to modify your exercise.
Although I do ask for gender, this information is not used for reporting purposes.
I need to collect transaction data for accounting purposes and to satisfy legal requirements.
How I use the information
I use your personal information to create a client profile that is unique to you and for accounting purposes.
I use your email and phone number to maintain contact and circulate information regarding fitness matters.
I do not share your information with external parties.
Your choices and request for removal
You are able to request how I contact you, and ask to be removed from mailing lists.
You are able to ask for all personal data regarding you to be removed from my systems. However I am required to keep certain data for a minimum of seven years to satisfy legal requirements, e.g. accounting information and health and safety.
How I protect your personal information
Any hard copy information collected from you is stored securely.
Any electronic data and communications such as emails, contact details and accounting transactions are all password protected.
Social Media Platforms
I have a general Facebook page which provides information. External users are not able to post onto the main page, but can ask questions via messenger

How it uses cookies
